Clinical Hypnotherapy for Personal Development and Life Coaching
Most people will be familiar with the traditional role of a coach. Some might say a coach is the back bone of any successful athlete and sports person. Many of the world’s most successful CEOs, entrepreneurs and business leaders consult and indeed employ, business coaches, to keep them focused and at the top of their game. But there’s another type of coach, a Life Coach or a Personal Development Coach.
A life or personal development coach is a wellness professional who helps clients make positive changes in their lives in order to attain greater fulfilment.
A life coach will help you:
- Improve personal and professional relationships
- Clarify and focus on career goals
- Increase self-confidence
- Help you deal with stress and anxiety, a mid-life crisis, retirement, redundancy, illness or loss
- Motivation to increase your health and overall well-being
A life coach will help you identify blockages and obstacles that are holding you back, and work with you to come up with strategies for overcoming them. By helping you identify and build on your strengths, a life coach can provide you with the support you need in order to achieve long-lasting change.
Hypnotherapists, psychotherapists and indeed some counsellors, are well placed to offer life coaching. A skilled life coach will remain objective and non-judgemental, they should possess excellent listening skills, offer constructive guidance but not tell you what to do, they should provide an empowering environment to help you achieve your goals and most importantly, in my opinion, they should have a wealth of life experience and success in their field.
